審査！

夏の総合審査が行われました。舞浜同好会は7月20日（金）龍道場にて和久井さんが5級を受けられ見事合格！！！おめでとうございます。

   

This Friday at Ryu Dojo

This Friday (July 20th) training will be held at Ryu Honbu Dojo (time is as usual - 7:45pm). Come and support wakui-san on his 5th kyu test!

Azerbaijan Gasshukusha

Another visitor joins us here at Maihama's friday class - Atil from Azerbaijan. Atil has been here for about 2 weeks and will be around till the 2nd of August. A strong man with great spirit - has been training for over 7 years, just by watching Ando Sensei's videos.

Now that Atil is here in Japan, getting some hands on training, he will be testing for shodan before his return back home, where he hopes to start teaching Yoshinkan Aikido to some of his former ju-jutsu students. We wish him the best of luck!

マエダ！マエダ！マイダ！マイダ！

6月15日（金）から6月17日（日）の3日間、浦安三社祭りが開催されます！ このお祭りは夏季オリンピックが開催される年に浦安で行われる夏祭りです。 6月15日は宵宮、御霊入れの儀。この御霊入れは女人禁制の儀らしいです・・・ そして16日・17日と神輿渡御。 浦安では神輿を担ぐ時の掛け声が「マエダ！マエダ！」と「マイダ！マイダ！（舞う）」の2種類。 神輿を前に進ませるために「マエダ！マエダ」と言う説と、神輿を舞うように担ぐことから「マイダ！マイダ！」と言う説があります。 4年に1度の大イベント！この機会に浦安のちょっと激しい？？？お祭りを体験なさってください。 合気道のお稽古もマエダにマエダと進みながらマウように上手になれたらいいですね。　 15日（金）舞浜のお稽古はお休みです。

自由技！！！

舞浜同好会は毎月第一金曜日に自由技のお稽古をします！ 普段のお稽古のときにはなかなかやらない、自由技の基本的な動きから受け身にたるまで いろいろな事を教えてもらえます。 昇段審査を控えている方、自由技ってなんぞや？？の初心者の方でも楽しくお稽古できますので是非ご参加ください♪ 頑張ればジム先生のような華麗な受け身が出来るようになるかも・・・です。

暑中稽古のお知らせ

8月1日（水）～8月7日（火）朝6時から龍本部道場で暑中稽古があります！ 朝の爽やかな空気の中でのお稽古はとても気持ちがいいです。 ぜひ1度体験してみてください。 病み付きになりますよ（笑）

Shodan

Congratulations to Nakada Mayumi, who recently was promoted to shodan. Nakada-san has been a long time visitor, but as of a few weeks ago changed to a Maihama member. Also in the pic below is Ken, from the Seikokan Dojo in Windsor, Canada. Ken has been here for about 3 weeks now and will be around for another 4 or so.

Thanks to all the members and visitors who keep coming and training every Friday night. There may only be a few of us, but the group is energetic and full of spirit. See everyone next week!
